이 앱은 시각장애인의 단독보행을 돕기위해 개발되었습니다.
The app was developed for blind people to help them walk alone.

맵데이터와 랜드마크를 분석하여, 단독보행을 위한 음성정보로 제공합니다.
Analyze map data and landmarks, provide voice information that make them possible to walk alone.

사용자가 촬영한 사진을 분석하여, 시각정정보를 음성으로 제공합니다.
And analyze the picture taken by the user and provide visual information by voice


2.why we need this?

이전까지의 네비게이션은 오직 자동차만을 위한 것만 출시되었으며, 사람을 위한 네비게이션은 존재하지 않았다.
Previous time, the navigation which contain voice guidance was released only for the vehicle, not for the walking people.

본 앱은 자동차 네비게이션의 기능을 본따 시각장애인에게 시각적 정보를 줄 수 있다.
Our idea is imitating the vehicle navigation, so that we can provides some visual, or spatial sense to the blind person.

시각장애인은 시야가 좁거나 없고 주변 상황에 대한 정보를 받아들이는 속도가 느리고 부정확하기때문에 보행의 기준이되는 랜드마크를 식별하는 것에 어려움을 겪는다. 본 앱을 통해 이러한 랜드마크를 제대로 전달하는것 만으로도 시각장애인의 단독보행에 큰 도움이 된다.

Blind person(person who is visually impaired) has a narrow view or no view than ordinary person.
It make there ability that embrace the information about  surrounding situation, more slow and inaccurate.
So they have difficulties to Identifying landmarks which serves as a reference point for walking.
Through our apps, they can receive information about landmark as a shape of voice.
It means, it is very helpful when they walk alone.

시각장애인을 위한 보조기기는 현재 다양하게 개발되고 있지만, 비용이 비싸다.
There are many movement to develop supplementary equipment for the blind, around the globe.
Unfortunately, most of them is very expensive.

가장 대중적으로 알려진 안내견은 훈련비용이 1억원을 넘어가고
Guide dogs, the most commonly recognized solution, cost over $ 90,000 to train.

초음파 지팡이나 문자해독기 등의 보조기기 또한 가격 부담이 크다.
ultrasonic stick or text decoders are also at high prices.

본 앱은 스마트폰에 앱을 설치하는것 만으로도 이러한 보조기기의 역할을 대부분 해낼 수 있다.
But, just install this app to their smartphone, most of the roles of these equipment can be fulfilled.


3.시스템 개요도
본 앱은 스마트폰의 카메라, GPS, 스피커와 마이크를 통하여 작동된다.
The app works through the smartphone's camera, GPS, speakers and microphone.

사용자는 스마트폰 마이크를 통하여 목적지를 입력할 수 있다.
The user can input the destination data through the smartphone microphone.

GPS센서와 Daum포털의 맵 데이터가 사용자에게 가장 적절한 경로를 탐색한다.
The map data of the GPS sensor and the Daum portal searches for the most appropriate route to the user.

그리고 탐색한 경로를 출력하는 것으로 경로 안내 기능이 동작한다.
Then, the route guide function operates by outputting the search route.

사용자가 보행중 장애물을 접하거나 특정한 상황에 처했을 경우 카메라로 전방을 찍을 수 있다.
If the user facing on an obstacle while walking or is in a specific situation, the user can take a picture with the camera.

사용자가 사진을 찍으면 사진분석기능이 작동된다.
When the user takes a picture, the picture analysis function is activated.

해당이미지가 cloudSight를 통해 분석된다.
The photo is analyzed through Cloud Sight.

분석된 정보는 음성데이터로 변환되어 사용자에게 전송된다.
The analyzed information is converted into voice data and transmitted to the user.

사용자가 보행중 장애물을 접하거나 특정한 상황에 처했을 경우 카메라로 전방을 찍을 수 있다.

4.시나리오
앱을 시작하면 즐겨찾기, 검색, 사진분석, 설정을 볼 수 있다.
Launch the app to view favorites, search, picture analysis and settings.

검색은 음성검색과 터치검색으로 나뉜다.
Search is divided into speech search and touch search.

목적지를 검색하면 음성안내가 시작된다.
When you search a destination, voice guidance begins

화면에는 총거리와 총소요시간이 표시되고 사진분석과 메뉴버튼이 존재한다.
The screen shows the total distance and total time spent, has photo analysis and menu buttons.

사진 분석은 다음 페이지에서 설명합니다.
Photo analysis will be explained on the next page.

메뉴에는 안내다시듣기, 경로재검색, 다음 경로안내 기능이 있습니다.
The menu contains instructions to ment replay, re-search route, and next way point

사진 분석 기능은 초기 화면과 경로 안내 메뉴에서 확인할 수 있습니다.
You can find Photo analysis function in both , first screen and route guide menu.

사진을 찍은 후 일정 시간이 지나면 사진에 대한 정보가 텍스트와 음성으로 표시된다.
After user taking a picture, and few seconds, the information of photo appear in text and voice.
